About us
Shafer Bowls donates all of its sales to Apple Country Woodworkers which is a non-profit 501c3. In doing so we support the children of Henderson County who are at risk of missing Christmas. For any number of reasons, the kids may be on the short side of a Christmas present. The organization; Shafer Bowls, indirectly helps are The Salvation Army, Hendersonville Rescue Mission, Missions-Carolina Baptist Association, Elida Homes, Calvary Food Pantry, The Storehouse, Helping Hand Development Center, Craggy Correctional Center and more. Here, the Mayor of Hendersonville, MS. Barbara Volk, below, welcomes the Christmas Season for all the organizations that receive the 2700 toys that Apple Country Woodworkers donate each year.
